About Sneha Saigal Sneha first encountered her love for wine when she moved to Barcelona for her post-graduate studies in 2015. She decided to pursue her MBA from IESE Business School and get her Level 2 Wine Sommelier certification from WSET while she lived there! Her passion for wine continued to grow over the years even after she moved to New York, where she currently lives. She has worked with several wine publications and often writes about her experience of visiting the beautiful wine regions of France, British Columbia, and Napa Valley. Education and Certifications WSET Level 2 Wine Sommelier Expertise Immigrant winemakers across the globe Emerging wine regions of the world Favorite Wines One of my favorite wines would be from 14 Hands in Washington, USA. Especially their Cabernet Sauvignon which has a bold but smooth flavor. As for whites, I'd definitely opt for a Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough because it is fresh, herbaceous, and citrusy! A household favorite has got to be the Whispering Angel from France's Chateau d'Esclans - a medium-bodied Rosé that pairs very well with cheese, crackers, or just by itself. The best part about this wine is it has elements of lemon, cantaloupe, with an added freshness of oranges and peaches. Yet, it isn't too fruity - a perfect summer wine!
