Description
JUSTIN cabernet is the wine that got us hooked and really interested in wine. So our first trip to Paso Robles had to include a visit there. Although JUSTIN cabs are certainly no longer our favorites, it is our go-to table wine when we have several guests over that are beginners. It’s still a solid choice for an entry level cabernet sauvignon at a reasonable price. The bonus is if any of our friends end up really enjoying the wine, they can easily find it to purchase themselves as the popularity of this wine has exploded in recent year.
Back to the winery visit and tasting.
We visited this winery with our aunt and uncle, so it was the 4 of us. Easily made reservations for a tasting ahead of time, and everything went smoothly. We visited in March, so the weather was just perfect and not yet getting too hot outside to enjoy a nice red wine al fresco.
The wine and views were fantastic. Our favorite was the Isosceles 2017:
We also did the cave tour and barrel tasting. We highly recommend doing that. It’s a fantastic experience for the price ($150 Non-Members, $120 Members).
Next time I may try the tasting in their downtown location, which is typically where we stay when we visit Paso. That location looks very nice.
